Dark and Stormy with Diplomatico Rum

Instructions

1. Chill your glass

   10min

   Before mixing, place your serving glass in the freezer for 10–15 minutes or fill it with ice water while you prepare the ingredients. A chilled glass helps keep the drink cold and refreshing longer.

2. Prepare the lime

   Cut the lime in half. Use one half to squeeze out the juice and set aside. Cut the other half into wedges or slices for garnish.

3. Add ice to the glass

   Empty the ice water if you used it for chilling. Fill the glass with 3–4 ice cubes to keep the drink crisp and cool.

4. Mix the cocktail

   Pour 50 ml of Diplomatico dark rum into the glass. Add 100 ml of ginger beer over the ice. Add a small squeeze of fresh lime juice for balance. Repeat for second glass.

5. Garnish and serve

   Place a lime wedge on the rim of each glass. Optionally, stir gently to combine or leave layered for a more dramatic look. Serve immediately while cold.
